HoYoverse's upcoming game, Honkai: Star Rail, just released a YouTube video showcasing one of the first playable characters in the game. March 7th is a bubbly, pink-haired girl who was once trapped in eternal ice. She was rescued by the Astral Express and became a key member of its crew since then. However, her predicament left her with a case of amnesia. Unable to recover her memories and remember her origins, she chose to name herself March 7th—the day she awoke once again.
Alongside crewmates Danheng, Himeko, Pom-Pom, and Welt, March 7th goes on trailblazing expeditions across the skies. Not wanting to lose her memories a second time, she carries a camera around to record experiences to remember forever. In battle, March 7th wields a bow and uses ice powers to shoot enemies from a distance.
In the trailer, March 7th can be seen releasing a wave of Pom-Pom-shaped ice cubes, freezing enemies in place. However, the footage was taken from the beta-testing stage, so changes to her skills, animations, and more may occur in the future.
