Since you fought with her in the intro, she must be a playable character. Right? Here's what we know about how to get Kafka as a character in Honkai: Star Rail.
When will Kafka's banner come to Honkai Star Rail?
There is no official word on when or if Kafka will be made as a playable character. That said, we writers at PGG are just as anxious about upcoming content as you all are, and we keep our ears to the ground for leaks and rumors.
There are some rumors floating around Reddit that Kafka will be featured as a Limited Five-Star character in Version 1.2. Again, these are rumors, and no future banners have been officially confirmed by HoYoverse. If Kafka is a Limited Five-Star character, this means that you will have to wish on a Limited Character Event banner while she is featured, which would likely last for 22 to 23 days or half an update.
What will Kafka's Element, Path, and Kit be?
Since we got to trial her character during the game's intro, we have a bit more knowledge of this character than others. Kafka should be a Lightning Element character that follows the Nihility Path. Some data-mining has revealed Kafka's current kit, based on the character you use in the intro. Keep in mind, HoYoverse can change her final kit before she enters the game as a Limited Five-Star character.
Her current kit seems to center on dealing and boosting Damage over time. She'll likely work very well with other Nihility characters like Sampo or Welt. Moreover, she'll make an excellent unit to use in the Simulated Universe if you take advantage of Blessings of Nihility.
