If you picked up Hunt Showdown and are wondering about the off-centered crosshair, you're not alone. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like you'll be able to adjust it anytime soon. Here's everything you need to know about the crosshair in Hunt Showdown.
Can you fix the Hunt Showdown crosshair?
The Hunt Showdown crosshair being off-center is a design choice by the developers. This means you aren't able to move it around, much to the anger of longtime players. Instead, it hovers a bit lower on your screen, which is a visual feature you'll just have to get used to if you plan on sticking with the game.

Why can't you center the crosshair in Hunt Showdown?
For a game to make such a drastic decision with something as vital as a crosshair, there must be some reasoning behind it. In an interview with USA Today, Hunt Showdown's lead game designer Dennis Schwartz said it was a decision made early on.
"We made a very early decision in our process, and all of the animations in the game are based on that," he said. "It’s not in your way and you can focus more on the world. And since this is all about shooting at the right time, and not just like spray and pray, we always considered that the weapon can be at the lower position."
There aren't many games out there that would make a design decision like this, so it's at least interesting to see how it's explained. Moving the crosshair from the center of the screen does make visibility a bit easier, but we're sure many players would love the ability to get it centered. While that could be something the devs work on for the future, it doesn't sound like it's something you should get your hopes up for.
