How to Deal with Dramatic Masks in Lethal Company

Is this the Mimic we've all been asking for?

The game has many creatures running around its facilities, but the Lethal Company v45 update brought in one of my favorites, the Mask. Read the text below to learn how to deal with the Dramatic Masks in Lethal Company.

How to Survive the Lethal Company Masks?

You will find two different Masks on the floors of the facilities or in gifts: the comedy mask and the tragedy mask. You can usually sell both of these Masks for good value, so it's smart to pick them up. Don't put them up to your face to survive the Lethal Company Masks.

If you put the Dramatic Masks up to your face, you run the risk of them possessing your body. There isn't a set time of how long it takes before they possess you. I've had moments where I would put up a Mask on my face quite a few times without any effect. But I've also been possessed in the first couple of seconds of lifting it up. So it's a gamble you should avoid.

However, this doesn't mean you are safe from the Masked Men. It doesn't matter if you never put a mask on, as they will spawn randomly on their own, too. They will look just like any crew member, except they will be wearing a mask, so it isn't really an effective mimic.

You can also notice the changes in movement. The Lethal Company Masks look more erratic and confused than a real person would. They will stare you down and run to you in short bursts. If they catch you, they will vomit blood and infect you, making you another Mask.

The Masked Men can go outside just like the girl in the red dress, so don't think you are safe even on your ship. They will also show on the radar with a blue dot, just like any other crew member, so be sure to know exactly where all of your teammates are.

How to Kill the Masks in Lethal Company

You can kill the Masks in Lethal Company with a shovel, but it will take a bit of effort. You have to get close enough to get a hit in, but the Masks also need to get close enough to infect you. Be careful not to get grabbed. You can use a Zap Gun and a Stun grenade to slow down the Dramatic Masks in Lethal Company. This will allow your teammates with melee weapons to take them out before you all become infected.

You can also kill the Masked Men with a shotgun, but that would require the additional step of killing a Nutcracker first to get it. If you manage to do it and not waste your two bullets on other monsters, then you can use it to kill the Masks.
