Lethal Company Teleporter vs Inverse Teleporter – which is better?

Just don't teleport me in front of a turret, please.

Lethal Company is a game where you want to get in and out of facilities fast, and two updates can help you do that. The big question is, what is better: the Teleporter vs Inverse Teleporter?

Should I buy Teleporter or Inverse Teleporter in Lethal Company?

Unless you are pretty far in a game save, you will have to pick whether to buy the Teleporter or the Inverse Teleporter in Lethal Company, as they are pretty pricey. Both ship upgrades are great, but I would buy the normal Teleporter first for several reasons.

Teleporter

Getting the normal Teleporter is cheaper, and it's also a better upgrade to have early in the game. This ship upgrade teleports the player being viewed on the Terminal monitor back to the ship. It can teleport from anywhere inside the facility or outside on the Moons.

Teleporting back to the ship is very useful when a monster is chasing you. It can save a life and your entire team from getting a bad grade. Dealing with monsters does get marginally easier as you get more items like stun grenades or a zap gun. The Teleporter is a better purchase while you're still getting used to it.

The downside of the Teleporter is that you will drop all of your items when you get teleported. Say goodbye to all of the scraps you are carrying. This is particularly bad if you are not able to meet your quota.

Inverse Teleporter

The Inverse Teleporter is an upgrade that teleports players from the ship to a random location in the facility. This is very useful for getting in and out fast. If you explore the facility quickly, you can get off the moon before night falls and nighttime monsters spawn.

However, the Inverse Teleporter has the same downside as the normal one. It will drop all of your items as it teleports you. This is particularly bad since you'll lose your flashlight. I would teleport one teammate and have others bring an extra flashlight when they go in. This way, one of you gets to explore faster without staying in the darkness alone for too long.

Using the Inverse Teleporter is a tactic I would employ later in the game as you get more comfortable and knowledgeable. The facilities are very scary, even with a flashlight and knowing where the exits are.
