Kiryu is a maser brawler in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. He can use multiple fighting styles, but you may want to know which one is his best one.
Is Agent or Yakuza fighting style better in Like a Dragon Gaiden?
Ultimately, the best fighting style depends on your preference. Both fighting skills are serviceable throughout the game, but the additional gadgets in Agent style make it feel better than Yakuza style. However, I personally prefer playing with the Yakuza style as it feels more satisfying to land brutal hits and combos. Both styles can be upgraded to improve them, either through individual upgrades or the shared upgrade tree.
Agent vs. Yakuza fighting styles
The Agent style is more martial arts-based and more precise but also utilizes gadgets. Kiryu's gadgets allow him to disarm and take out enemies without actually having to fight them. His aura will glow blue when Agent style is active. I prefer using the Agent style when fighting large groups of enemies, as it makes dispatching enemies and grabbing weapons easier.

Yakuza fighting style relies on raw strength and brutal blows. Yakuza is Kiryu's classic style and what he is known for, and the style he has used throughout the Yakuza series. When the Yakuza style is active, Kiryu will glow red. Yakuza style is my go-to when facing bosses due to its power and flashy strikes.
How to switch fighting styles in Like a Dragon Gaiden
You can switch fighting styles in combat by using down on the D-pad. Occasionally, Kiryu will automatically switch fighting styles. I recommend trying out both styles and switching during combat as you progress to get a feel for both.
