Should you save Gerka or leave him in the prologue of Lost Ark?

A weak leader.

Before you dive into the meaty content Lost Ark has to offer, you can learn some basic mechanics of the game by playing the prologue. At the end of the prologue, when you reach the treasure with your supposed comrades, the leader Gerka has a change of heart and cuts the deal he made with the priest Morpheus short. But alas, greed gets the better of this man as he orders his minions to loot the nearby tablet, as a mist starts to envelop him.

You have an option to save Gerka or leave him to his own demise. It honestly doesn't matter what choice you make, as both decisions come to the same conclusion—Gerka means a stony fate and is a statue for forevermore.

Overly, the choice you make depends entirely on how you roleplay your character or how you would react in this situation.

Gerka's actions should come as no surprise as he has tried to leave you behind from the get-go as he sees you as a threat to his goal. He tries to act like a leader but is really a pathetic weak man.
