How to make red dye in Minecraft

If you want to make red dye in Minecraft, you will need to gather a few specific items in the game and place them anywhere inside a crafting table. After that, all you need to do is click and drag, and you will make red dye.

The materials below are what you need to make red dye; any of these items can be used to make the dye. 

• Beetroot: You can find beetroots in both desert and forest village farms.
• Rose Bush: Roses can be found growing in the forest biome.
• Red Tulip: All tulips can be harvested from flower forest and plains biomes
• Poppy: To get poppies, you can either kill golems or find them growing in most biomes.

How to make black dye in Minecraft

Going down, the next dye we are going to be explaining how to make is black dye. To start, you can make it with two items following a similar crafting pattern as the last one, meaning once you find these items, all you need to do is place them inside a crafting table to craft black dye. 

Here are the materials you will need for black dye.

• Ink Sac: If you want one of these, you will need to find and kill some squids; they will be floating around in water sources like oceans. 
• Wither Rose: To get these flowers, you will need to wait until a wither kills a mob, shortly after a wither rose should drop. 

How to make green dye in Minecraft

Moving on, to make green dye in Minecraft, you will need cactus blocks; you can find them in the desert and mesa biomes.

When you find a cactus block, all you need to do is break it; once broken, you will get the cactus you need for the dye. Once you get the cactus, bring it back to a furnace with some coal, and you will make green dye. 

How to make white dye in Minecraft

In short, to make white dye, you will need two items, gather these items up and place them inside a crafting table to make the dye; the materials you will need are listed below.

• Bonemeal
• Lilly of the valley: If you are hunting for a Lilly, you will need to head to the flower forest biome.

Overall, both are not hard to get; bonemeal is especially easy when you got a composter. Because of this, we recommend getting a composter to farm up bonemeal for the dye, as all it requires is a bunch of compostable materials.

How to make orange dye in Minecraft

If you want to make orange dye, you will need to find or combine the following items below inside a crafting table to make it.

• Red Dye and Yellow Dye: Place both red and yellow alongside each other inside a crafting table to make orange dye, 
• Orange Tulip: All tulip flowers, including orange ones, can be found in flower forests and plains biomes.

How to make magenta dye in Minecraft

To make a long story short, you can make magenta dye with a ton of other dyes and two flowers. Below we will show you which dyes you will need to combine and what flowers you can use to make magenta dye.

• Red Dye

• Lilac: To craft magenta dye with lilacs, all you need to do is place it inside a table like normal. If you want to find lilacs, just search any biome with grass blocks; eventaully, you will find one. 
• Allium: Same deal with allium; to craft the dye with it, just place it inside a table. To find this flower, you will need to search the flower forest biome.

How to make light blue dye in Minecraft

To make light blue dye in Minecraft, you will need the following items below; two are dyes, which you will need to combine together, the other is a flower that can just be placed inside a crafting table to create light blue dye. 

• Blue and White Dye: Place both dyes, as shown in the image below, next to each other to make light blue dye. Doing so will net to you two light blue dyes instead of just one. 
• Blue Orchid: This flower is found both in Swamp and Flower Forests Biomes, and it can be used to make the light blue dye by simply placing it inside a crafting table.

To make blue dye in Minecraft, you will need the materials listed below; once you get these materials, all you need to do next is simply place them inside a crafting table to make blue dye. 

• Cornflower: To get cornflowers, you will need to search forest and plains biomes in the game.
• Lapis Lazuli: To get Lapis Lazuli, you will need to mine lapis lazuli ore and melt it down inside a furnace. 

How to make yellow dye in Minecraft
