In October 2022, Phasmophobia got into the Halloween spirit with its Apocalypse update, which revised the player hub and added collectible trophies. To get the three most coveted trophies, check out this Phasmophobia Apocalypse Challenge guide.
How to complete the Apocalypse Challenge in Phasmophobia
To complete the Apocalypse Challenge, players must complete a solo hunt in the Sunny Meadows Mental Institution map while playing on a custom difficulty. The custom difficulty modifiers must be increased to at least 6x, 10x, or 15x. These will respectively award the bronze, silver, and gold trophies for the equipment room.
Once the custom difficulty has been set, players must complete all four objectives alone and get a photograph of the ghost. It's certainly a tall order, but one dedicated ghost hunters will surely rise to. Sunny Meadows Mental Institution is no walk in the park, so playing several matches first is advised to get accustomed to the layout. After all, getting taken out by the ghost during a hunt will end the run in a disastrous way.
How to get the Bronze Apocalypse Trophy in Phasmophobia
If you're looking to get the Bronze Apocalypse Trophy in Phasmophobia, you can go one of two ways. You can either choose the Apocalypse I preset or the Insanity preset in the difficulty settings. Both are on 6x difficulty multiplayer.
There are several differences between the two presets. On Apocalypse I, the ghost is faster, and you can't sprint. On Insanity, the ghost is slower, and you still have the ability to sprint. The event frequency is higher when you pick Insanity, which is good, especially if one of your objectives is to witness a ghost event.
The kills extend hunts is high on Apocalypse I, while it's low on Insanity. The evidence you can gather on Insanity is only one compared to the two on the other preset. You also have no hiding places when picking the Apocalypse I preset, compared to the low ones on Insanity.
The sanity monitor, activity monitor, and fuse box are all on with Apocalypse I, but they are all off with Insanity. That means you aren't able to track your sanity or the ghost activity from the truck with the second preset, and you'll be starting in complete darkness until you find the fuse box.
Both the presets have their advantages and disadvantages. I would go with the Insanity preset to get the Bronze Apocalypse Trophy, as the ghost speed is slower, you can sprint, and there are hiding places on Sunny Meadows.

How to get the Silver Apocalypse Trophy in Phasmophobia
You can get the Silver Apocalypse Trophy in Phasmophobia by using the Apocalypse II preset in the difficulty settings. With this setting, you should watch out for the lower player and higher ghost speeds. Your sanity and sanity pill restoration is also lower.
You can adjust the Apocalypse II preset if something isn't to your liking. I prefer to increase my speed back to 100 and decrease the ghost speed to 100. You can also increase your sanity starting point to 100 and the sanity pill restoration percentage to 20. Now, all you have to do is reduce the evidence to 0, and the difficulty will go back over 10x.
If it's difficult for you to adjust settings and then get them back up to 10x, you can also pick the Apocalypse III setting and start reducing the multiplier. Just ensure it doesn't go below 10x, or you will be hunting for that Bronze Trophy again.
How to get the Gold Apocalypse Trophy in Phasmophobia
To get the Gold Apocalypse Trophy in Phasmophobia, choose the Apocalypse III preset in the difficulty settings. You can adjust the weather if you like, from heavy rain to either fog or snow. The effects of fog and snow won't be active inside, while heavy rain can affect sound cues. The Gold Apocalypse Trophy is the most difficult one, so it might take you a few tries until you get the perfect objectives you can complete.
