Where to find Gold Bottle Caps in The Indigo Disk Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

There are a few ways to get Gold Bottle Caps in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. You can either earn them as a reward from the Ace Academy Tournament or purchase them at the auction house in Porto Marinada.

Both the Auction House and the Ace Academy Tournament rely on luck to obtain a Gold Bottle Cap, as tournament rewards and auctioned items are random. For a guaranteed one, you will need to collect at least 210 Pokémon in the Blueberry Pokédex, which is part of The Indigo Disk DLC.

Gold Bottle Caps are even rarer than regular Bottle Caps, so you will likely need to grind through the Ace Academy Tournament several times before you get one. Likewise, they don't appear too frequently at the auction house, and when they do, they will be absurdly expensive. So you will need to bring a lot of Poké Dollars to buy them.

Despite this, Gold Bottle Caps are well worth it, as they raise all IVs of a Pokémon. Regular Bottle Caps will only raise a single IV, so these rarer Bottle Caps will greatly improve the rate at which you train your Pokémon's IVs.
