With hundreds of unique pets available to collect inside of the addicting and fast-paced experience Clicker Simulator, it's no surprise that there's a few secret for players to unlock as well. These hidden additions, deemed secret pets, are coveted by players across the experience, so how do you obtain them? Unfortunately, there's no definitive answer to this question, though we can offer a handful of tips to help start you on the right track!
Tips for obtaining secret pets in Roblox Clicker Simulator
Find eggs that you can afford
While many players expect secret pets to be obtained through completing difficult quests or finding developer-added easter eggs, they're actually unlocked in a much simpler way. Nearly every egg inside of Clicker Simulator has at least one secret pet hidden inside of it, so they're technically easy to find. The hard part is unlocking them, however, as they often have an exceptionally low pull chance when compared to the other pets inside of the egg.
For example, the pull chances for the Chemical Egg are as follows:
- Hazmat Suit = 36.1% chance
- Gas Mask Cat = 36.1% chance
- Chemical Bunny = 13% chance
- Chemical Barrel = 7.5% chance
- Nuclear Blob = 4% chance
- Toxic Cluster = 2% chance
- Chemical Guardian = 1% chance
- Cooling Tower = 0.15% chance
- Mutant Robot = 5E-6% chance (Secret)
To put it simply, you typically have a one in a million to a one in one hundred million chance to pull a secret pet from an egg as a standard, FTP (free-to-play) player. Because of this low chance, it's important that the egg that you're opening is one that you can afford, as you'll likely need to open hundreds of them before you obtain the pet that you're looking for.
Maximize your output
As mentioned above, FTP players will likely need to spend hours opening hundreds of eggs in order to unlock a secret pet. There is a way, however, for those willing to spend a hefty amount of Robux to expedite this process and make hunting for rarer pets, including secrets, much easier. To do this, players can purchase gamepasses, including the ones listed below:
- Fast Egg Open! - 249 Robux
- Lucky Chances! - 199 Robux
- Super Lucky! - 699 Robux
- VIP - 399 Robux
There are also purchasable in-game boosts that last for a limited time and can be used to increase luck.
Be patient
Above all else, the key to unlocking secret items in any kind of simulator is patience—they're called secret items for a reason! Don't burn yourself out opening eggs for hours upon hours or multiple days nonstop. Take breaks when you need them and, though it's hard, try not to get discouraged. These pets were made to be nearly unobtainable, it's not just bad luck!
