When you consider how prominent the allure of having the best and rarest pets in Clicker Simulator is, it's surprising to hear that many players don't know how to make their own, including the coveted Golden pets. Luckily, we'll be detailing all you need to know about the process of making Golden pets in the brief guide below.
Golden Pets: What you need to know
Note: Before we begin to break down the Golden pet transformation process, it's important to mention that only Epic and Legendary pets can become Golden—Common and Rare pets do not have a Golden counterpart.
Farming for Epic or Legendary pets
In order to make a Golden pet, you'll need three of the same kind of Shiny pet first, meaning you'll need at least 12 dispensable Epic or Legendary pets in total. Epics and Legendaries have a low chance of spawning from a variety of eggs, so you can realistically farm any egg that you'd like, regardless of price. In this guide, we'll be farming the Frozen Arctic Egg.
Once you've found the egg that you want to farm and have selected the pet that you want to turn Golden, it's time to begin hatching. If you'd prefer to speed up the monotonous process of opening each egg one by one, there are gamepasses that you can purchase that allow you to open three eggs at a time or auto-hatch any egg that you receive. Purchasing both of these gamepasses will cost around 1,000 Robux.
Creating Shiny pets
Now that you've farmed 12 of your chosen pets, it's time to make them Shiny. To do this, open the Pets menu by selecting the paw print icon on the left-hand side of your screen. With the Pets menu open, select one of the Epic pets that you plan to transform. If you have the correct number of pets, a button should appear that says Shiny (4/4). Click this button.
Upon selecting this button, four of your Epic pets will be combined into one, singular Shiny pet. To see the difference between a normal Epic pet and a Shiny Epic pet, check out the images below.
Creating Golden pets
After repeating this process twice, creating three Shiny Epic pets, you're ready to make a Golden pet. To do this, open the Pet menu once more, locate one of your three Shiny Epic pets, and select the Golden (3/3) button. Upon doing so, your three pets will be transformed into one Golden Epic pet!
