Rune Factory 5 is not the type of game that explicitly teaches you what to do next. You’re expected to thoroughly explore the sleepy town of Rigbarth and its surrounding areas, finding solutions to problems on your own. As for how to get cold medicine? That’s a pretty good example of this.
To get cold medicine, you need to unlock the first expansion for Rigbarth Clinic at Studio Palmo. The expansion will cost you 8,000G, 500P, 50 material stones, and 50 pieces of lumber. Doing so will add more items to Simone’s inventory—including cold medicine.
The item itself costs 1,000G, so make sure you have enough money to pay for everything. The expansion will also allow Simone to administer vaccines, which can help boost your stats, statuses, and immunities, among other things.
Once you have you cold medicine, approach the person who requested it (because there will be more than one) and give the item to them. The requests should be marked as complete!
