Cerberus is the second boss you encounter in the game. It’s not very powerful, and it’s easy to dodge its attacks. Cerberus is the only monster that drops the Crimson Claw, a rare item used for crafting. Taming it will not produce the items you need, but you do get an amazing monster to aid you in your adventures.
Here’s how to tame it:
- Go back to Belpha Ruins B3 after your first battle with it.
- Brush Cerberus until the music note icon stops appearing above its head. This will make it friendlier toward you and, thus, easier to capture.
- Do not attack it. Instead, give it items that it likes. Cerberus really likes cakes (such as Cake, Chocolate Cake, and Cheesecake). It also likes Strawberries grown from Starfall seeds.
- You’ll know you’re doing it right once you see the heart icon over its head with every gift. It will take a while, but it will eventually come with you.
If you’re still unsuccessful after many attempts, try again at a higher level. The wider your level gap, the higher its chances of being tamed. Plus, make sure you have space in one of your Barns. Monsters won't come with you if there is no room. You can build more Barns or add a room to an existing one at Studio Palmer.
