How to break the yellow vines in Shadow Warrior 3

These vines have thorns!

In Shadow Warrior 3, you will be battling terrifying demons and Yokai as Lo Wang with various weapons and his trusty katana. But you may notice that the environment is also filled with hazards. Some hazards are helpful, and some are not, like the yellow vines.

These yellow vines are found throughout Shadow Warrior 3 and can be broken by slicing them with your katana or shooting them. We recommend slicing them when you can or using either The Outlaw or Sidekicks to conserve ammo when they are out of katana range.

You will need to break these vines to progress as they often block your path. Unless you clear the yellow vines out of the way, you will not be able to proceed. Sometimes these vines must be taken out quickly in certain missions, so keep your trigger finger warm.

If you are lost and unsure where to go, the yellow vines are typically a good indicator of where to head. Their bright color often makes them easy to spot. So take a moment to look around if you get lost and follow the yellow vine road!
