Rambler's Reach is the main hub area on Koboh, and this is where you will meet various NPC characters in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. There are several shops in this area, along with a few locked houses that you can unlock to acquire certain collectible items. I tried to open these houses just after arriving in Koboh, but you'll need to progress in the game and acquire specific abilities to access these areas. Here's how to unlock all the houses in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Where are all the locked houses at Rambler’s Reach in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
There are a few locked houses at Rambler's Reach in Koboh, and these can be unlocked eventually as you progress through the game. The locked houses are marked with white arrows on the map image above. Remember that you will need certain abilities before accessing these locked rooms.
For instance, you will need the ability to tame Relters, Force Lift and Slam, and Merrin's Charm which allows Cal to pass through green shields. You will also need to interact with the Jawas at the Jawa Settlement and invite them over to Rambler's Reach.
Building opposite to Nekko shelter
The first building is located opposite the Nekko shelter, and this house doesn't have a proper entrance. You must enter this locked area from the roof. To do this, you must learn the Relter tame ability and then visit the cliff near Rambler's Reach Outpost. Check the image above to see where the Relter is located. Hop on the Relter and land on the terrace of the big grey building.
After landing on the terrace of the locked building, drop down to enter the main room. This is where you will find a green shield blocking the passageway. You must use Merrin's Charm to enter through the green shield shown in the image above. You can also unlock the main door to get a new shortcut inside this house.
Snoot Madas locked house
The next house you can enter is Snoot Madas' house, located just behind Doma's shop. This locked house has mechanical eyes that you can notice easily. Stand in front of the main door and use the Force Pull to open the slice hatch. Use BD-1 to slice through the door, and you will find another trap entrance. Use the Force Lift ability to raise the metal trap door, and use Merrin's Charm to enter through the green shield.
Inside you will find Snoot Madas, and you can control his mind by using Force abilities. Convince him that you are a friend and you will gain access to the basement of this building. In the basement, you'll find a Force tear in front of a corpse. Interact with the Force tear, and you will learn that Snoot Madas murdered his own brother. At this point, he will attack Cal, and you need to defeat Snoot to exit the house.
Complete Abandoned Shack Rumor
Some of the houses at Rambler's Reach can be unlocked by completing certain Rumors. For instance, completing the Abandoned Shack Rumor will introduce a new character T-1N8. Later on, this character can be found at Rambler's Reach, and it opens the locked building on the left side of Pyloon's Saloon. Inside this house, you will find the Duelist outfit in a chest.
Complete Jawa Settlement Rumor
The Jawa Settlement Rumor also unlocks two locked houses at Rambler's Reach. To start this side quest, interact with the Prospector, and visit the Jawa Settlement at Koboh. You need to complete the rumor and interact with the Jawas to recruit them. Return to Rambler's Reach, and you'll notice that the houses shown in the images above will be available to access.
You will also need the Electro Dart for BD-1, so make sure to complete the story missions to the point where Cal gains this ability. Once you have the ability, stand in front of the house with the electrical panel, and strike it with the Electro Dart. Collect the cosmetics from inside the room, and get up on the terrace. Connect the electrical line from the first building to the second to open the other locked room. This is how you can unlock all the locked buildings at Rambler's Reach in Jedi Survivor.
