Rarecrows are a special event version of ordinary scarecrows in Stardew Valley; there's also a ton of them, so here is how to get them all. We will also explain how to craft the regular variant and the unique deluxe scarecrow.

How to get all Scarecrows in Stardew Valley

To get all Rarecrows in Stardew Valley, you must find and buy them from various vendors in the game; you will also need to donate at least eighty artifacts to the museum. That said, keep reading for where to find all Rarecrows in Stardew Valley. 

Where to get all Rarecrows in Stardew Valley:

  • Farmer Rarecrow: The first rarecrow you can get is a lady farmer; you can buy it at flower dance for 2500k gold every spring 24th of spring, from Pierre's booth at the dance.
  • Turnip Head Rarecrow: The next rarecrow is a reference to the anime Howls Moving Castle; you can purchase it with 800-star tokens at the Stardew Valley Fair. If you don't know how to get star tokens, you can get them by playing carnival games or participating in the grange display.
  • Witch Rarecrow: You can get this by paying 5k gold at the Spirit's Eve that takes place on the 27th of fall every year in Stardew Valley.
  • Alien Rarecrow: This next one, you can get by buying it with 10k casino tokens in the Oasis Casino; also, if you didn't know already, you can get casino tokens by exchanging them at a rate of 1k per 100 tokens via machine next to an NPC called Mr. QI. 
  • Snowman Rarecrow: The next one is a snowman themed scarecrow that can pop up from time to time in the traveling cart randomly both in the fall and winter in the game. When it's in the cart, you will need to buy it for 4k gold. 
  • Racoon Rarecrow: To get the raccoon scarecrow, you will need to donate a total of 20 items to the museum in town. 
  • Tiki head Rarecrow: For the Tiki head Rarecrow, you will need to do the same thing but this time, donate over 40 items. 
  • Dwarf Rarecrow: Now, for the last rarecrow on this list, you will have to buy it from the dwarf NPC in Stardew Valley for 2500k gold.

How to make the Deluxe and Normal Scarecrow in Stardew Valley

First, to make a scarecrow in Stardew Valley, you will need to first level your farming skill to level one to unlock the crafting recipe to make basic scarecrows. Once you get level one in farming, you can make a scarecrow with the following materials listed below. 

  • 50 Wood: You get wood from chopping trees and logs on and off your farm with an ax.
  • One Coal: You get coal from recycling, mining rocks, treasure chests, and using a charcoal kiln, and more. 
  • 20 Fiber: If you want, you can get it from destroying grass with a scythe on and off your farm.

Now, to make a deluxe scarecrow, you will need to earn the recipe by collecting all rarecrows in the game; luckily, we have the full list already in this guide. After this, you will get the recipe from The Z.C. Rarecrow Society; at this point, you can then craft a deluxe scarecrow with the following materials listed below.

  • 50 Wood: You get wood from chopping trees and logs on and off your farm with an ax.
  • Irdium Ore: You get coal from recycling, mining rocks, treasure chests, and mining around levels 115-119 in the Mines.
  • 20 Fiber: If you want, you can get it from destroying grass with a scythe on and off your farm.

Once crafted, you can then use it to a significant effect like other scarecrows in the game. However, with the deluxe scarecrow, it will have triple the range with a radius of 16
