Where to get Polymer in Starfield?

Just got paid today, got me a pocket full of polymer!

Starfield offers players a plethora of various resources, many of which can be collected throughout the vast and expansive worlds they visit. They are an essential part of the game's crafting system, offering the opportunity to upgrade equipment, and are vital to building outposts on planets. Polymer was particularly elusive for me, as I had yet to learn where I could obtain it in the game. If you require polymer but need help finding where to look for it, this guide will help you!

Where to find or buy Polymer in Starfield

Polymer is not a commonly occurring resource in Starfield, and you won't be able to get it by mining it. Instead, you must seek out vendors who sell it. The easiest way to obtain polymer is by visiting the following vendors:

  • Dietrich Sieghart: You can find him in Neon, on the planet Volii Alpha in the Volii System.
  • Amoli Bava: You can find her in Jemison Mercantile in New Atlantis on the planet Jemison, Alpha Centauri System.

Each unit of polymer has a mass of .50 and costs 20 Credits. If you want to purchase larger quantities, there is a chance you will get overburdened, especially if you have a habit of carrying an arsenal with you like I always do. For this occasion, I recommend taking a crew member to help share the load until Bethesda introduces transportation service to Starfield's vendors.
