How to automatically select idling units in Total War: Warhammer 3

Don't be left standing still!

In the chaos and confusion of the battles of Total War: Warhammer 3, it can be easy to lose track of units. And when you lose track, one of the worst things is to find that an essential unit has been standing still doing nothing on the other side of the battlefield the whole time.

This is great for finding units that have fled but might have rallied, or you otherwise lost track off. Additionally, finding idling units is a lot easier in Total War: Warhammer 3, as a helpful “Zzz” symbol, rests over idle units.

Making sure units aren’t idle is key to winning harder battles, as you could potentially have soldiers standing around instead of reinforcing failing flanks or chasing down enemies. And as the battles increase in size, it’s useful to just quickly press “\” a few times and make sure you’ve not forgotten any of your units.
