How to get the Uncharted 4 Stage Fright trophy

A technical difficulty made a trophy!

The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has been released on the PS5 this past week, and many players will, for the first time or once again, find themselves immersed in the final adventure of Nathan Drake. In a fun jab at themselves, Naughty Dog included a Trophy called Stage Fright, and here is how you can earn it.

In Chapter 11 Hidden In Plain Sight, after traversing a clocktower and completing the Pirate Founders Sigil puzzle, you will go back outside to the market square. To earn the Stage Fright Trophy, all you have to do after the cutscene ends is stand still for 30 seconds. Sometimes it can take a little more or a little less to get the Trophy to count, but we recommend just standing there until you see the Trophy pop.

This Trophy was added by Naughty Dog to poke fun at themselves. You see, during Uncharted 4's stage demo at E3 2015, a controller malfunction occurred that caused Nathan Drake to stand still for the first 30 seconds of the showcase. Naughty Dog loves to put little easter egg trophies into their games, similar to another trophy in Uncharted 4 called Ludonarrative Dissonance that you unlock for killing 1000 enemies. This one pokes fun at the supposed light-hearted protagonist, who also kills many people.

So there you have it, that is how to unlock the Stage Fright Trophy in Uncharted 4. As humans, you have to be able to laugh at yourself, and it's fun to see that even million-dollar companies can laugh at themselves too.
