Valorant Gekko Agent Abilities and Role

Dizzy (E)

Gekko can throw a Dizzy (an active globule) that will travel through the air and blast plasmas toward the enemy. Upon hitting by plasma, the enemies will be blinded for a short duration, similar to other flashes in the game. Gekko can collect the fallen Dizzy (a dormant globule) like Cypher Wire Traps to use it for a second charge after the cooldown.

Wingman (Q)

Gekko can throw the Wingman (an active globule) that will move and concuss the first enemy it meets for a short duration. The other ability of the Wingman is that it can be used to plant spikes and even diffuse them. Remember, Gekko must have the spike in his inventory to plant. You can collect the fallen Wingman(a dormant globule) later for a second charge after the cooldown ends.

Mosh Pit (C)

Gekko can throw a mosh pit-like grenade toward the ground that will cover a big area and explode shortly. He can also under-toss the grenade using Altfire.

Thrash (X)

Gekko can link his mind with Thrash and control his movements. Drive Trash toward enemies, exploding and detaining them for a short duration. You can collect the fallen trash later for a second charge of Thrash after the cooldown ends. Remember, it can be reclaimed only once.

How does Gekko compare to other initiators?

Gekko looks extremely lethal and different from all other initiators because of his Wingman ability. This ability can be a game-changer on both the attacking and defensive half, as the globule can plant and diffuse spikes without the need for a player. We are eagerly waiting for all the changes in META with the addition of Gekko.
