How To Use Air Link To Play Steam VR Games on Oculus Quest 2

Here's how to use Air Link To Play Steam VR Games on Oculus Quest 2.

To set up Air Link on Quest 2, you must first download the Oculus desktop app and program and log in with your Facebook or Oculus website info. You can download the app over at the official Oculus website.

Once logged into the desktop app, locate settings and find the beta tab as shown Under Beta; there will be an option called Air Link. Enable it by clicking the circle to the right of it.

After enabling Air Link, make sure to head on over to the general settings tab, and enable unknown sources. This will allow your Oculus Quest 2 to access your Steam games when it is in Air Link mode.

That said, when both Air Link and unknown sources are enabled on your PC, you will then need to place your Quest 2 on your head, locate the app menu, and then set settings.

Under settings, there will be an option called experimental features. Click this and find Air Link under it, and enable it similarly to how you did it on PC.

Soon after, you will be able to play both your SteamVR games and Rift Games wireless. But, you may encounter problems such as low visuals and lag. However, using Air Link is still a great alternative to an actual wire if you don't have one, but we would recommend still getting one at some point.
