Come March 31, 2022; players will be able to saddle up and ride out into the dangerous frontier of Weird West. Weird West is an immersive sim game which are usually single-player, but some players may wonder if there is co-op or multiplayer in Weird West.
The answer is no—there is no co-op or multiplayer in Weird West. It is a completely single-player game. While Weird West would be the perfect game for multiplayer, the immersive sim makes it difficult to have multiple players in the same story.
Some players may be confused by some of the wording on Weird West's Steam page. For example, the statement "Form a posse or venture forth alone into an otherworldly confines of the Weird West and make each legend your own" seems to imply that players can invite or join their friends and experience Weird West together.
Unfortunately, this is not the case, and there is, in fact, no multiplayer. Despite this, Weird West looks to be a thrilling and unique adventure that players can enjoy and have to themselves!
