To celebrate the launch of World of Warcraft 10.1, as well as the start of Dragonflight Season 2, Blizzard and Twitch are teaming up to give players extra rewards. As part of a Twitch Drop, you'll be able to get your hands on the Blazing Hippogryph mount just by watching a streamer for a few hours. Here's everything you need to now about the Blazing Hippogryph WoW Twitch event.
How to get the Blazing Hippogryph in WoW
Beginning at 1pm ET on May 9, the Blazing Hippogryph will become available as a Twitch Drop, and as long as you're watching an eligible streamer who has drops enabled, you'll be able to secure the mount. You have to watch for a total of four hours, and it can be over the course of several days with different streamers if you want. Once the drop is ready to be claimed, Twitch will pop up with a notification you have to select, and you're good to go.

Before you can get the drop, you'll need to link your Battle.net account to your Twitch account. This can be done by signing into your Battle.net account, selecting Account Settings, going into the Connections tab, and then selecting the Twitch account link. If you've claimed a drop in the past, this step is already done.
As for streamers to watch, there are a variety of choices to choose from. Many players gravitate toward the top of the directory, and that would typically mean Asmongold, as he's the most popular of the World of Warcraft streamers. Streamers like yumytv and Dorki are good options for players trying to learn how to play healer or tank, respectively, as they are both skilled in their roles and answer a lot of questions.
How to claim the Blazing Hippogryph in WoW
Once you've claimed the drop on Twitch, you'll have to log into World of Warcraft to claim the mount there. If everything has gone correctly up to this point, you should see an in-game notification about a new cosmetic being added to your account. Open up your Collections tab and unwrap the gift that is the Blazing Hippogryph.
The unfortunate part of Dragonflight is everybody is zipping around on their new dragon-riding mounts. This means flying mounts like the Blazing Hippogryph don't find a lot of use in the Dragonflight zones, but players can still enjoy it in all the other content World of Warcraft has to offer.
