Congratulations pet lovers, Wuthering Waves makes you jump when you run into a cat

Pet the doggo, leap over the cat.

As someone who recently played Little Kitty, Big City, and had my share of being a cat tripping over pedestrians, this small detail in Wuthering Waves filled me with joy. Let me introduce you to this hilarious reaction that KURO GAMES decided to add to this action gacha RPG.

You can see from the above image that my Rover crossed paths with a cat (and a dog!) while exploring Jinzhou - the first city in the game.

Just a little FYI for cat and dog lovers, once you enter Jinzhou for the first time and see a dog on your right, follow the path around to the right, and then go right again. You'll reach a street with three dogs and two cats lolling around.

What happens when you're running near cats and dogs in Wuthering Waves?

When you're using the sprint function and dashing around in Wuthering Waves, you will automatically leap over any cats or dogs that are in your path.

This hilarious function is a much better alternative to simply bumping into the animal or phasing through them. Cats are completely unbothered by you leap-frogging them, and they'll just continue on as if you were never there.

Dogs also don't mind, but you can interact with dogs more than you can with cats.

Most importantly, can you pet the dog in Wuthering Waves?

As you can see, when you're standing by a dog, you get three options: Sit Down, Pet, and Feed. You can only feed a dog if you have food in your inventory, and a menu will pop up when you choose this option, allowing you to watch the dog scarf down whatever you give them.

Sit down is cute, but technically the dog does lie down, rather than sit.

Now, pet is the cutest. Though there's no animation for the Rover, the dog will act as if you've just petted them. They get up and start hopping around, it's adorable!
