Hanging from a ceiling might be great content for your SpookTube channel, but it isn't great for your survivability. Check out how to deal with the starfish in Content Warning below.
How to avoid the Starfish monster in Content Warning
You might not think that the star-shaped monster looks the most dangerous out of the entire Content Warning monster roster, but it definitely is, especially if you end up alone. With teammates, it's a little more bearable.

The starfish can be found on the ceiling, so the biggest lesson here is to look up, which I rarely, if ever, do. The star monster can be spotted from a distance, though it is pretty difficult to do so since the entire facility is pretty dark. You should always have a flashlight with enough battery on it so that you can check the ceilings in a room.
Sadly, these monsters aren't the only things hiding in the darkness, so you'll also have to monitor the rest of the environment. When doing so, it can be easy to miss a little star waiting for you to pass under it. If a different monster is chasing you, then the chances are you won't see it until you are already up in the air.
However, don't despair, as there is a way for you to get down with the help of your teammates (if you are alone, then despair). If your teammates are close, yell to indicate that you are in danger. Luckily, the starfish damages you pretty slowly, so they'll have time to find you and find something to throw.
Bones are always good for throwing if you can find some quickly. With how many times I've been up in the air, I've started carrying them around and just walking in darkness since you can't use a flashlight at the same time.
If your teammate has been caught, hold Q to charge a throw and aim it at the starfish; it should let go. If you are caught, drop all of your items so that your teammates have more ammo. Hopefully, they'll have a good enough aim to save you before the ceiling monster takes you.
