Genshin Impact – All Time Trial Locations (Map)

Genshin Impact is covered in floating mechanisms known as Time Trial challenges, which reward players with Achievements after completing a certain number of them. More time trial challenges are released alongside new areas. Read on to find the locations of all 582 time trial challenges that I have found in Genshin Impact.

All Time Trial Locations in Genshin Impact

All Mondstadt Time Trial Locations

Completing 5/10/15 of the Mondstadt time trials will reward you with the Wind-Chasing Adventurer Achievement. Reference the image below to find the 17 time trial locations in Mondstadt, which are marked with red stars.

All Dragonspine Time Trial Locations

There are currently no achievements for completing the time trials in Dragonspine, but these challenges can offer other rewards, like discovering Crimson Agate, Chests, and unlocking new areas in the Dragonspine region (necessary to clear the In The Mountains questline). All 16 time trial locations in Dragonspine have been marked on the map below.

All Liyue Time Trial Locations

Completing 10/20/40 of Liyue's time trial challenges will grant you the Rock-Steady Adventurer Achievement. Since Liyue is such a large region, we've divided its 47 time trial locations into four main areas. Below, you'll find the eight time trial challenges in Bishui Plain.

The screenshot below shows eight time trial locations in Qiongji Estuary.

The next screenshot reflects the locations of the 22 time trial challenges in Minlin.

Finally, seven time trial challenges can be found in Lisha and the Sea of Clouds.

All Chenyu Vale Time Trial Locations

Chenyu Vale is home to 63 Time Trial Challenges. Completing 12/24/48 of them will reward you with the Jademond Adventurer Achievement. Refer to the maps below to find all accessible time trial challenges in the area. The rest can be obtained by completing Carefree Simulacrum puzzles all over the region.

In the underground area of the Lingshu Courtyard, you'll find one Time Trial Challenge. The area is accessible via a nearby entrance with no direct underground Teleport Waypoint.

You'll also find one Time Trial Challenge in the underground area in Chizhang Wall, close to the Solitary Suanni boss fight.

All The Chasm Time Trial Locations

A total of 15 time trial challenges can be found within The Chasm, both above-ground and underground combined. Completing 3/6/12 challenges will earn you the Chasm Adventurer Achievement. The final five time trials can be found around The Chasm's Maw.

Meanwhile, in The Chasm's Underground Mines, you'll find a total of 12 time trials around the Ad-Hoc Main Tunnel, Main Mining Area, and Underground Waterway.

The final three trials in The Chasm's Underground Mines can be found along the Nameless Ruins, Stony Halls, and Glowing Narrows.

All Inazuma Time Trial Locations

Inazuma is divided into multiple islands that cumulatively house 80 time trial challenges to keep you on your toes. Completing 6/12/24 challenges in Narukami Island, Kannazuka, and Yashiori Island unlocks the Lightning-Riding Adventurer (I) Achievement while doing 6/12/24 in Watatsumi Island and Seirai Island grants the Lightning-Riding Adventurer (II) Achievement. Completing 5/10/12 of them in Tsurumi Island will unlock the Lost Adventurer Achievement. Upon landing on Inazuma, your first stop is Narukami Island, which is home to seven time trial challenges.

In the joint islands Kannazuka and Yashiori Island, you’ll find 28 time trial challenges.

A little way to the left is Watatsumi Island—home to 17 time trial challenges.

Meanwhile, there are 12 time trial challenges located on Seirai Island.

Finally, there are 16 time trial challenges that you can complete on Tsurumi Island. That includes the three located in the group of islets north of the main island.

All Enkanomiya Time Trial Locations

Enkanomiya consists of five islands, and there are a total of 18 time trial challenges that can be found here. Completing 3/6/12 will award players the Kairos' Constancy Achievement. The first stop in Enkanomiya is The Serpent's Bowels, where four time trial challenges can be found.

In The Narrows, Dainichi Mikoshi, and Evernight Temple, nine time trial challenges are waiting to be cleared.

The final island in Enkanomiya is The Serpent's Heart, and five time trial challenges can be taken on here.

All Sumeru Time Trial Locations

Sumeru's rainforest area is home to 43 time trial challenges, including those with mechanics unique to the region—such as Phantasmal Gate Challenges. Completing 10/20/40 challenges will unlock the Adventurer of the Shimmering Woods Achievement.

First off, below are all the time trial challenges you can find in the Avidya Forest—there are four in total.

Meanwhile, the Lokapala Jungle is home to 11 time trial challenges.

Explore further south to find eight time trial challenges in Andravi Valley.

Meanwhile, there are 12 time trial challenges in the Ashavan Realm.

There are five time trial challenges in the Vissudha Field, not including the Jadeplume Terrorshroom's territory west of Vanarana.

Lastly, there are three time trial challenges in Vanarana, as well as the northwest part of Vissudha Field.

Sumeru's Hypostyle Desert has 52 time trial challenges between three main areas: The Hypostyle Desert, Land of Lower Setekh, and Land of Upper Setekh. Time trial challenges on the desert surface are marked with a star. Some time trials are below ground or inside a tomb or cave, and you will likely need to have completed the Golden Slumber World Quest to be able to access them. These challenges are marked with a banner and an exclamation point. Completing 10/20/40 challenges will unlock the Quicksand Adventurer Achievement.

Sumeru's Desert of Hadramaveth has 38 time trials for you to take on. Once again, some are located underground. These trials will show a layer icon in the bottom right corner of the pin. There will be a separate underground map to help you find these trials.

There are five trials in the northeast corner by the Dunes of Steel.

You can find four time trials in the northwest corner nearby The Sands of the Three Canals.

On the western edge of the desert are five more trials nearby Wounded Shin Valley.

The south east portion of the Desert of Hadramaveth has eight more trials in it.

Finally, the south west corner has a whopping sixteen time trials for you to find.

Gavireh Lajavard and the Realm of Farakhkert have 24 more time trials for you to find. You can start with these three nearby the entrance to this portion of the map, nearby the Desert of Hadramaveth.

There are ten more to find nearby the Tunigi Hollow. Keep in mind that the three circled Time Trials are underground. You should reference the underground map below for their location.

You can find two more to find nearby the Samudra Coast. Once again, one of these trials is underground, so refer to the underground map for it.

There are also four time trials surrounding a pool of water to the west of the Hills of Barsom. Three of them make up a special Kory Drum Time Trial Puzzle.

Finally, these last five can be found around the Vourukasha Oasis.

All Fontaine Time Trial Locations

Fontaine is home to 113 Time Trials, including underwater challenges unique to the region. Completing 3/6/12 Time Trial Challenges in the Court of Fontaine, Belleau, and Beryl Regions will reward you with the Waveriding Adventurer (I) Achievement, completing 3/6/12 Time Trials in the Liffey Region and Fontaine Research Institute of Kinetic Energy Engineering Region will reward you with the Waveriding Adventurer (II) Achievement, and completing 3/6/9 of them in the Morte Region and Erinnyes Forest will reward you with the Waveriding Adventurer (III) Achievement.

These fall under the Fontaine: Dance of the Dew-White Springs (I) Achievement series.

Above, you'll find the locations of all the Time Trial Challenges in the surface area of the upper half of the Beryl Region. The area marked in the water on the upper right is not underwater—you must reach it via Waverider.

Above, you'll find the locations of all the Time Trial Challenges in the surface area of the lower half of the Beryl Region.

You can find all the Time Trials in the Erinnyes Region marked in the image above.

In the image above, you'll find all the Time Trials in the Fort Charybdis Ruins and East Slopes of Mont Automnequi. You can access the floating time trial via Waverider.

There is a small underwater section you can access by diving from the Weeping Willow of the Lake. In the northern part of the map, under the Loch Urania, you can access one Time Trial Challenge.

In the image above, we've marked up all the Time Trial Challenges in the upper half of the Court of Fontaine's underwater area.

North of the Thalatta Submarine Canyon, close to the Millennial Pearl Seahorse's cave, you can find the Time Trials marked above.

In the image above, you'll find all the Time Trial Challenges in the Elton Trench.

I've marked the Time Trial Challenges you can find in the underwater area beneath the Tower of Gestalt.

In the image above, you'll find the location of the single Time Trial Challenge in Annapausis, which unlocks in The Narzissenkreuz Adventure World Quest.

Above, you'll find all the Time Trial Challenges in the underground area within the vicinity of Merusea Village. Some areas will only unlock as you complete the Ancient Colors quest chain.

Above, you'll find the location of two Time Trial Challenges in the Institute of Natural Philosophy, which unlocks in the Aqueous Tidemarks World Quest.

You can find two Time Trial challenges in the underwater section of the Tower of Ipsissimus, and one more northwest.

All Nostoi Region (Remuria) & Sea of Bygone Eras Time Trial Locations

The Nostoi Region is home to Petrichor, a small Fontainian territory in the middle of the sea. It's also connected to the Sea of Bygone Eras. While these areas belong to Fontaine, the Time Trial Achievements are counted separately. The Rhapsodia in the Ancient Sea Achievement called "Ancient Sea Adventurer" can be obtained by completing 6/12/24 Time Trials in the two combined areas.

You can find two Time Trials on the surface of Petrichor.

In the underground section of Petrichor, you'll encounter one more Time Trial on the upper level of the Faded Castle. You need to initiate the Canticles of Harmony quest chain in order to unlock this area.

There are a ton of Time Trial challenges clustered in the eastern pocket of the Sea of Bygone Eras. Keep in mind that some marked areas may have two to three challenges each.

You can also find a few more Time Trial challenges in the western part of the Sea of Bygone Eras.

All Natlan Time Trial Locations

In Natlan, there are 17 official Time Trial challenges, plus four additional ones not counted toward the Natlan: The Land of Fire and Competition Achievement series. Completing 3/6/12 of these in Basin of Unnumbered Flames, Tequemecan Valley, Coatepec Mountain, and Toyac Springs grants the "Ignited Adventurer" Achievement. While the rest of the Time Trials are not counted in this Achievement series, they will reward you with Chests.

You can find all Time Trials in the northern part of Natlan marked in the image above.

Refer to the image above for all Time Trials in the southern part of Natlan. The Firethief's Secret Isle will not appear on the World Map until four Time Trials in the area are completed. A fourth Time Trial will also appear on the island after the three have been completed.

There are three standard types of time trials:

• Archery challenge
• Combat challenge
• Racing or parkour challenge

Time Trials may take on different forms and contain additional mechanics unique to each region. In Sumeru, you can experience similar challenge objectives but may need to play an Aranara song to activate the challenge. Meanwhile, in Fontaine, you will find unique objectives in the underwater areas, which can only be completed using the region's underwater mechanics.
