Hades II was revealed during the Games Award 2022 and will follow a new character, not Zagreus. In Greek mythology, Hades, the father of Zagreus, also had a daughter named Melinoë. However, it is unknown whether this is Hades' daughter or Zagreus's daughter at this time.

What is known is that Hades II will carry over the highly popular gameplay of Hades will be returning. The game looks extremely similar, but we expect new mechanics, features, and a new villain in Chronus.

Hades II will release in early access like the first Hades, showing that Supergiant Games knows what works. We, unfortunately, don't know much about the title, but we cannot wait to see what Supergiant Games has in store for the Hades sequel.
