Can you wake up Hypnos in Hades 2?

While Hypnos cannot be fully woken up for now, he can talk to you somewhat in his sleep if you give him Nectar. Initially approaching him will not do anything but giving him Nectar as a gift will cause him to mutter a few words. Giving him Nectar initially will cause him to mutter '"welcome to the....haah,zzzzz...'' (after which he goes back to sleep again). After this, Melinoe will say that the Nectar will be waiting for him when he wakes up.

It seems only Nectar can be used to wake him up, at least for a little bit. Hades 2 is still in early access so it might be that Hypnos' role will be more prevalent later on in the game's cycle. For now, though, he rests while we give him some sweet Nectar.

Nectar is used to improve your relationship with other characters in the game (as with Hypnos), by gifting this to them. It can be found in a number of ways in Hades 2, such as by clearing encounters in all the available regions of the game- Erebus, Oceanus, Tartarus, Fields of Mourning, City of Ephyra, and Rift of Thessaly. It can also be bought from the Wretched Broker and Charon's Shop. It is classified as uncommon so you will have to be a bit lucky to get this item.
