Best Logitech Gaming Headsets

Logitech has long been one of the most popular PC peripheral manufacturers on the market, and the reason for their success is no secret: they put out a ton of high-quality products across a vast array of applications. And of course, they offer many different options for gamers after a decent headset, ranging from the modest to the feature-packed.

Logitech H540

If you’re just after a basic headset that will last a long time, work well, and not cost you an arm and a leg, then Logitech’s H540 is a solid performer. It has a built-in mute function, padded, on-the-ear ear cups, and a convenient USB connection. The boom-style microphone rotates, and it also features a padded headband for comfort during long gaming sessions. It’s not the highest-end headset out there, but at around $30, it does the job and sounds great.

Logitech G Pro X Wireless

While the G Pro X looks more like a set of studio headphones (and would function well as one), this headset is built from the ground up with gaming features in mind. Logitech has outfitted the G Pro X with 50mm drivers and 7.1 surround sound capabilities, which is great if you want positional audio when gaming. The headband is steel, the ear cups are attached with aluminum forks, the left side features a litany of onboard controls, and it boasts a 20-hour battery with a 15-meter range. The detachable microphone includes a wind guard, and the ear pads are made of leatherette over memory foam with optional velour ear pads. This is a heavy duty, over-the-ear headset built for heavy duty gaming with high-clarity audio.

Logitech G432

The G432 is a gaming-focused wired headset with 50mm drivers, a flip-up, auto-mute microphone, leatherette ear pads, and has both 3.5mm and USB connectivity. The ear cups swivel, so it can sit flat if you’re the type to store it in a drawer, and the dual connectivity means it’s compatible with basically anything that has a 3.5mm audio jack. All this combined with on-ear volume controls and DTS surround sound make the G432 a great gaming headset for under $40.

Logitech G435 Wireless

The G435 has a slightly different focus than most gaming headsets: weight. Most high-quality headsets sit pretty heavy on the ears, and even suspension-style ski-band headbands don’t totally remedy the issue if you’re the type who gets uncomfortable with a large piece of electronic on your head for hours on end. The G435 weighs in at 165 grams and features dual beamforming mics, 40mm drivers, an 18-hour battery, and on-ear controls. The built-in ear pads are breathable, and the over-the ear-design is immersive despite its light weight. It’s also one of the more colorful headsets on offer by Logitech and comes in several different color combinations.

Logitech G935 Wireless

The G935 is near the top of the mountain when it comes to high-end Logitech headsets, with the G Pro X just barely edging it out in sound quality with its 7.1 surround support. But the G935 is no slouch. It offers a heap of gaming-focused features. It’s a DTS 2.0-surround headset with 50mm drivers, a 6mm mic, 15 meters of range, 20 hours of battery, and a frequency response of 100Hz to 10KHz. It combines that high quality sound and range with a flip-to-mute adjustable mic, LIGHTSYNC compatible RGB, and leatherette ear pads. It also features three programmable keys on the back of the left ear (along with the usual assortment of controls) that can be mapped individually in Logitech’s G-Hub software to perform in-game actions.

Logitech shows no signs of slowing down in the PC peripheral game, and their line of gaming products continues to grow. Other companies often offer flashier products, but few can compete with Logitech when it comes to long-term support, nearly guaranteed plug-and-play compatibility, and mature companion software suites. Any headset here would be a worthy gaming companion for many hours of play.
